AAR Choking Halifax

Post by RafaleKiwi »

Not a bad scenario well thought out, and quite enjoyable, but came across an error in the Spetsnaz team allocated. I suspect it might due to the DB updates.

The brief says the team has "They were provided with demolition charges and (just in case) a single MANPADS. Use them wisely."

The Spetsnaz team in the program is Facility_1943 which is only armed with 40 x 7.62. An in the scenario it only allowed me to attack with 7.62mm which isn't much use against a hardened shelter! I expended all my 7.62, in the hope it might be a simple error which I've overlooked. No.I believe the Spetsnaz team should be Facility_1944 which has c4.

Still managed to get an Average score of 400 for reaching the mining area and a further 200 for landing my team.

Hi Rafale

I´m sorry about that. I´ve designed that scenario at beta stage in mid 2013.
Something went missing with the following databases and versions.
I´ll be loading an updated version today at the scenario section.

kind regards

Patricio

Corrected and uploaded.
Remember that in addition to reach the mining area, you must load your tubes with the mines with priority reload to them.
After that you have to go to the mission planner an put your sub attached to the mining mission to lay them along your planned course.

Hi Patricio

Much appreciated - Merci. I updated my one as well (I think - First time I've played with the editor and haven't tried it yet) but figured it's worth while letting people know about it so it can be fixed.

Regards Paul
