Not finding graphics, even though they're there

Post by Casus_Belli »

I just installed atg on a new computer with a dual drive (SSD plus d:/ data drive). I installed in the d drive, and it all seemed fine, but when I start to load a game it says it can't find the graphics folder. When I look for the folder in windows, it's there alright, and the path is exactly the same (D:\Matrix Games\Advanced Tactics Gold\graphics/at2\fordcounter\[x]Symbol.png). The graphic files are there, but atg is not finding them. Could this be to do with using the NATO symbols? But I haven't even selected that on this new install.
Correction: it's only some of the symbols. If I tediously click yes through a dozen or so, the game works, but a number symbols (HQs, Trucks, a bunch of others) are missing from the counters. Maybe I should try it with the NATO counters, which I prefer anyway. Anyway, any tip appreciated. Thanks in advance.
Also, how do I get rid of the splash screen at the beginning at go straight to the game?
Furthermore, Carthage must be destroyed.
