Close Combat: Gateway to Caen is the latest release in the critically-acclaimed Close Combat series and focuses on the largest, concentrated British offensive since the Normandy landings in an attempt to penetrate the German lines west of Caen and cross the Odon River to get the stalled advance moving again.

There is a fan forum of CC series in China called CC Bar in Tieba.com, where Chinese fans share mods and experience. I started a game suggestion thread there and try to be a good translator. Hopefully the thread will be updated monthly.

Being a reality simulation game, Close combat series need a better vision system. All unit share the same vision is obviously not reasonable, even today's technology also can’t realize that. One reasonable way is to provide each unit its own vision and limited vision for friendly units with radio communication.

Add a radio communication range or a valid command range. Units within these range can see the enemies and receive orders.

@Leon Libra (level 3)
1.Captured AT or vehicle can be deployed few turns later.
2.If enemy/player is attacked from more than 2 directions, player/enemy can deploy units in different regions of a map.

@Deutsches Kaiserreich 1871 (level 1)
Themes like East-line campaign, Pacific War, Korean War rather than west-line campaign are highly expected.

@disappeared Grenadier (level 3)
Please release all the CC games in Steam.

@WBVnGv4gr (level 1)
Suggestion for multiplayer game
One can see player’s ID and map of the game.
One can be audience in one game.
A chat room for people who want to battle.

Comparing with auto attack, taking initiative attack is more likely to receive mortar attack. Why?

Here are some suggestions:
1.Player can merge remaining soldiers with other healthy squads during one battle.(See Episode 2 of Band of Brothers)
2.Soldiers can pick up foes or the friendly's weapons they familar with.
3.Collapse of buildings.
4.High accuracy of mortar attack when enemies are within visual distance.

1.Better path-finding..
2.Trapped tanks can be repaired by engineers during battle.
