4 (DX) Germany decides whether to destroy the front fighter or bomber. The CW has a couple of fighters next turn and the French one so its a desperate choice. I lose the bomber.
13 (DA) I must confess I am close to conceding....

Where do the CW want to rebase to?

I land in the same hex that the fighters started from. If Axis has no more bombers left then I abort.

Don't worry. This is just the warming up phase. A phoney war of sorts. Soon the real thing begins.

Well 8 has been my lucky number this impulse so, entirely confident that I can throw another one, I decide to go for the 2:1 no modifiers.

It's 37:12 so not much required to alter the odds.

Do the CW use HQ support from Gort?

Yes to HQ support and CW will use the remaining aircraft for defensive air support and escort.

Fractional odds reduce the importance of air support somewhat.

HQ Support fails on a throw of 4. I assume the Assault table is requested and the result is.....

..... YES!!!!! a 4. The Germans lose the Engineer (not enforced but I think that is the rule).

EDIT: Yes it did enforce it [:)]

That is the rule if the engineer used any of its special abilities in the combat.

The Soviet Union declare war on Persia and USA is shocked.

Will Persia align to Italy, Germany or Japan?

Where should the Persian cavalry be placed? (The militia will be placed as a reinforcement for next turn)
