France take a naval, CW a combined and USSR take a land impulse.

No Port Strikes.

In Oran, France load a infantry on a transport, that sail out into the Western Mediterranean. Will the Italian submarine attempt to intercept the troop transport?

The main French battle fleet sail to the Western Meditteranean. Home Fleet sail to the North Sea. France also send out several convoy escorts.

Allies do not try to activate combat anywhere.

Will Italy initiate combat in the Western Mediterranean?

No? [:)] Then I truly hope that my bombers clears the AA fire and disrupt your fighters. If the AA will fire that is. I'll get you a picture on that shortly.

Three units disorganized by the British ground strike and that, I suspect, is about average result. So I can't complain but I truly wanted to disorganize that Stuka. [:D]

USSR rail two units to the Finnish border. CW rail a militia from Morocco to Tunis.

The Soviet Union occupy the Baltic States and no reaction from US. USSR advance into Persia and begin to encircle the Persian cavalry. CW advance with a MECH and a ART into Belgium while Gort (HQI) withdraw from Belgium to France.

No land combats.

CW rebase two fighters from England to Belgium and France.

No reorganization.

USA transported a garrison to Midway. US also established a possible resource transportation route from the Philippines to China via Rangoon and the Burma road.

Mar/Apr 1940
Impulse: 3

The Germans break the pact with the Soviet Union and then declares war.

Does the Soviet Union want to call out the reserves? If so where do they go?

Whaaaaaaaat? Barbarossa in 1940 when Belgium is on the Allied side (not even neutral) and France is not Viched? Never seen it before! This must be Doom Day of the Axis side!

The US is not happy with this development.

Does the Soviet Union want to call out the reserves? If so where do they go?

Yes, they call out their reserves. I'll get back with the placement in a few minutes.

Well its not exactly what I had planned to do [;)], but if you have been following the AAR it is pretty clear that the Axis are finished.

- Declaring war on the Soviet Union with Japan (with no ability to end it (I'm sure there was a compulsory peace in 5th Edition?) is just madness.

- The attack on Belgium ahead of Holland was wrong - it gave the CW the chance to fortify Belgium

- The Allies heavily outstrip the Germans in fighters and losing the 5-strength Stuka was a big blow

- I cannot get first impulse - and with a +2 and Allied re-roll, that seems unlikely

- The Italian declaration was a bit of a desperate move - and was a total failure in terms of upsetting supply lines

So with the game gone, I think its time to throw caution to the wind and see what happens.

USSR place the reserves as follows:

4th Cav - Murmansk
3rd GD Cav - Pskov
61 Garr - Minsk
16 Inf - Vitebsk
3rd Inf - Cernauti
1st Inf - Chisinau
1st Mech - Smolensk
And the militia in their respective home cities.

The CW declare war on Denmark. Do the Danes align with the CW - I am assuming yes? Where do they set up?

If you want to end it all fast, just declare war on the US with all Axis powers and be done with it. [:'(]
