Helicopters claiming VP

I don't know if this has been brought up before, but I was really disappointed when on the last turn of a scenario, the hind helicopters came in destroyed my runners and then were able to claim the victory points. The Hinds are tough enough to just try and stay away from. What happened to the idea of boots on the ground controlling a victory point hex. Love the game. Been playing for about 2 months now.

Flatfoot40, did the scenario end in sudden death at that time or was it just the end of a turn. Helos should not be able to capture a VL. Can you post the saved game file that starts that turn? Thanks

Here is an example. If you play the turn, the hinds destroy my unit in Stetton and then take control of the VP hex. Is this normal? Am I missing something?

flatfoot, the save appears to be well after the Stetton VP has changed. Do you have an earlier save?
