All I can say is thank God I'm not into multiple platforms. That would kill me for sure.

I shopped the bargains... haven't totaled it all up but I'd guess 20 games for around a $100 over a three month "holiday sales" period. Most were 75% to 90% off and cost me less than $5 each.

Didn't buy any "big ticket" items despite wanting MWiF desperately (decided to wait for next year's sale). The only Matrix title I bought this season was Civil War II when it was on weekly sale.

Money is tight these days and my free spending ways have come to an end. It's bargain bin shopping for older games now... and a concentration on playing what I already own.
Love & Peace,

My old Piczo site seems to be gone, so no more Navajo Nation pics :(

When I buy a game, try and stick with it till it goes out to pasture, or if it's horrible, toss into a draw where it will be forgotten and not remind me of what a waste of money it was, including the shipping charge. So I have a tendency to be choosy, not for lack of funds, more for sanity and Peace of mind.

Berto how is Modern Campaigns: Middle East '67? I am thinking about buying it.
There is a graphics make-over mod at volcano mods, but recent updates to Middle East 67 broke the mod.

Without it, the stock graphics are just too awful to bear. I stopped playing. Meh.

Did you try Jison's graphics mods found here? http://mapmod.hist-sdc.com/

Oops, actually it was Jison's mod that I tried (and which was broken). Maybe volcano mods has a working fix? (No time to look into it further now.)

Oh man, in this year I've bought handful of titles already! What, no way... 7 titles!!? Matrix ones are:
Unity of Command
Unity of Command - Black Turn
Unity of Command:Red Turn
Warhammer 40,000: Armageddon

And that is only half of it... The rest are:
Avadon: The Black Fortress
MOUNT & BLADE: WARBAND
MOUNT & BLADE: WARBAND - VIKING CONQUEST

Did I forgot anything?
You know what they say, don't you? About how us MechWarriors are the modern knights, how warfare has become civilized now that we have to abide by conventions and rules of war. Don't believe it.

So what do you think of MOUNT & BLADE: WARBAND and MOUNT & BLADE: WARBAND - VIKING CONQUEST?

I bought those just today so I haven't had much time to play and form comprehensive opinion. There are abundance of fantasy RPGs, scifi RPGs aren't uncommon either, but try find something based on real history on Earth... Viking Conquest seems to be just that. This is what sold it to me.

That sold it for me as well. Thank you. [:)]
