Installation of "World in Flames" failed

Post by baerlyner »

Hello fellows,

I just bought the "World in Flame" Computergame. After succesfull download of all 4 files I tried to install it. After a few seconds a a couple of installed datas I got the message
"Access to C:\Matrix Games\World in Flames\JcIRepositoryExpert140.bpl was denied"

Did anybody else had such a problem and could give me a hint?

Thank you so far!

Have you tried running the application as administrator? Sounds like a file permissions issue.

I would post this in the World in Flames forum. Perhaps someone has experienced this before and knows a solution.

I had a similar problem with another file - it kept disappearing, and I suspected my Anti-Virus software was the culprit. The solution was to reload the game with the Anti-Virus off, find the file that kept vanishing, and make a backup of that in a separate folder. Funny thing, once I did all that, it stopped vanishing. Anyway, here is the file you are missing - it should be generic enough not to matter what version of the program you are running. I've got the 1.33 Beta.

Okay - no button for uploading. Go to the Matrix World in Flame Forum, and I'll post it there for you. Chances are you'll have corrected the issue by now, but if not, there is where you will find what you need.
