CW keeps sending 1 BP to USSR and 3 res + 2 BP to France.

Germany lends Italy one resource.

Weather moderates somewhat.

Germany declares war on Belgium. The US doesn't even notice (10 rolled).

Belgium aligns with France.

Germany and Japan Land, Italy Naval.

No port attacks.

The Italians fly a Nav and Ftr to the East Med 2-box.

1 sub goes to West Med 4-box. 2 subs go to East Med 3-box.

2 CL move into Italian Coast. Does CW wish to intercept?

The CL's stay in the 1-box. Based upon the negative, 2 further CL's take station in the 4-box and 2 CL's move to the East Med 1-box.

Three areas are available for combat.

In the East Med, a CL initiates the search and the Italians commit their subs.

The Italians quickly locate the RN, who steam on blissfully unaware (Axis 1, Allies 6). The Italians focus their opening effort on the 3-box. How do the RN planes wish to fly?

The Italian fighters tear into the leading Gladiators, shooting them out of the sky and clearing the Nav through (Allied 11 DC, Axis 6 DX). Do the RN wish to stay?

In an exact repetition of the first round, the Italian's add to their battle honours by shooting down the Swordfish (Allied 11 DC, Axis 6 DX).

Caught by surprise by the unexpected demise of their air cover, the RN AA barrage is ineffective (2 points used to reduce to NE).

The strike homes in on the Glorious and plants a bomb in the middle of the flight deck, causing serious damage (2 surprise points to increase damage to D, 3A. D on Glorious with a 2 rolled).

How do the Allies wish to place 1 and 3 aborts?

Target any ships. After that CW will leave the combat. CP's to HQ hex in Egypt and other ships to Malta. Italy will pay for this...

The CW put their two aborts on the CV's (damaged one first) to get them out of Dodge. The Italians abort a CL. On orders from the Admiralty, they are rapidly followed by the remaining units in the area.

In the West Med, the RN CL catches the Italian sub on the surface. A hurried crash dive ensues but not before gunfire damages the periscopes, sending the subs back to port.

In the Italian Coast searches of 5 and 8 draw a blank.

No strategic, carpet bombing or ground strikes.

No rail movement.

Manchuria after Japanese land movement.

The Germans move into Belgium and declare two attacks.

Decision making switches to Zhukov and whether he wishes to provide emergency support to his army?

Zhukov stays calm and waits if there is no attacks and units are organized.

The Luftwaffe chip in a 4 factor Stuka for the Brussels effort. Do the Allies wish to contest this or add any support of their own?

I think Belgium is surprised and Allies cannot do much against the Luftwaffe in Belgium.
