That looks a bit fatal for the longevity of those 2 CL's.

Damaged is aborted.
What shall Italy do with surprise points? I bet 100 euros for "avoid combat".

If your attack is going really well, it's an ambush.

That would have been a safe bet, although 2 more points might have seen a different choice. Avoid combat.

Does German fighter want to intercept or shall Berlin burn?

Ground strike! I guess Germany wants to intercept with Bf109 from Brussels when units in Brussels are going to get some bombs (as a present from France)?

That roll 2 was just mean. Makes me wonder why I fly at all. Or at least I should only fly in friendly territory so that I would get my pilots back. Disorganizing one coprs/army from that stack sounded like a good idea...
Fighter lands back to Brussels?

Air combat rolls starting to average out from their earlier dismal start. Back in Brussels thanks.

Hmm.
I think it was a mistake to attack Brussels and not Antwerp. Not an expert but now the brits can get in Antwerp which will be a good defensive spot, meanwhile if Antwerp and the hex South-East of Bruxxeles contain germans, the W.Allies cannot reach Brussels and reinforce it anyhow.

Hi Cohen,
Thanks for commenting.
Good tactical point and one I will remember for the future.
The Brits have taken a Naval for their first impulse this turn, so won't be moving up just yet.

Cohen is correct, however...the only thing I would put in Antwerp as the CW are cheap units (ideal would be 1 MIL and 1 div with the Bel). What ever goes in should be crushed by the Germans anyway if the weather becomes fine.
Conflict with the unexpected: two qualities are indispensable; first, an intellect which, even in the midst of this obscurity, is not without some traces of inner light which lead to the truth; second, the courage to follow this faint light. KvC

RE: AllenK vs Mayhemizer AAR
I was thinking about sending CW to Antwerp but decided to let France do it.
Note to self for the future: Dakar Mil is not allowed to enter Belgium at all. Now it is clearly in wrong position with Arm.
In current weather Arm is the only unit that can reach Antwerp. It can't stay there long, but I'm tempted to make some +10 blitz vs artillery even if Germany gives HQ support and ground support. I'm a bit worried if Belgian unit gets killed, then Arm alone is peace of cake... I make my move later this evening.
Edit: Maybe it is less than +10...

Things in Manchuria are just as bad as you can expect for non-planned invasion. USSR rails HQ Timoshenko from Rumanian front to Manchuria. France rails territorial to Lyons.
USSR is trying to buy some time in Manchuria and forms a line. Communist Chinese are moving closer to Japanese forces. France is trying to stop Germany by setting "an impenetrable line".
No land combat.
USSR rebases one bomber to east, long way to Manchuria... CW rebases Harrow closer to action in Belgium. France sets fighters ready behind the line.
No HQ reorganization.

While rumblings continue in the German High Command about exactly what idiot left those guns so precariously exposed, the gunners themselves glance anxiously across the towards Antwerp all the while hearing the unmistakeable sound of armour. To their immense relief, although perhaps not to the High Command, no attack materialises.
For nearly six months the continent of Europe has been shrouded in skies of leaden grey, with an unremitting diet of rain, snow and blizzards. It comes as quite a surprise when, suddenly, all that changes.
