M/A 1940 Axis 5

No DoW

Germany Land, Italy Combined, Japan combined.

The Italians bring the fighter back from the Italian Coast to La Spezia.

The Regia Marina sorties 2 BB and 10 CA to the West Med. Does the RN wish to intercept?

No thanks. I guess I don't need to do that. Italians are here to empty West Med of RN ships...

Japanese 11th Inf ships to Shanghai. Escorts move down to the 0-box of the China Sea for a bit of protection.

The Italians initiate combat in West Med but searches of Axis 8 and Allied 5 are unsuccessful.

Combat is declined in the Italian Coast.

No strategic or carpet bombing.

The Japs send a ground-strike against Zhukov.

The Germans send a Stuka and Do-17 to ground-strike Antwerp, escorted by the Me-110. The Italians ground-strike Alex.

Does l' Armee de l'air wish to make a contribution?

Yes please, MS 406 will flight and stay fighting as long as any bombers are left. After that MS 406 aborts. Target possible aborts and kills to bombers. After combat return safely to same hex...

The French scramble their best fighter to defend against the incoming raid. Hearing reports of French fighters taking to the skies, German ME-109's hurry to join the battle.

Ignoring the less nimble Me-110's, the French fighters attack the leading formations of Do-17's forcing them to break, jettison bombs and head for home. French fighters pursue for the kill, they are caught by the arrival of the Me-109's. It doesn't go well for them.

The Germans declare 1 land combat on Antwerp. They throw in a Stuka and Ju-88 for ground support.

What would the French Potez like to do?

Potez will fly as a bomber. If I counted right you don't have any more fighters?

Potez will land 1 hex east from where it takes off.

French air observers have indeed done their homework. Correctly reckoning the Germans have nothing left to oppose a ground support run, they hastily strap bombs onto the Potez.

The opposing pilots cheerily wave to each other as they pass on the way to deliver their cargoes.

The Germans are forced to assault the city. The opening goes well as initial objectives are taken (fractional made) but a rather average performance sees the Germans descend into chaos, only managing to destroy the Belgium Inf and left totally disorganised. That'll cheer them up no end in Paris and London muses out Beloved Corporal (or words to that effect).

The German Nav rebases to La Spezia.

The Japs complete the CVP changes.

Von's Leeb and Bock reorganise 5 of the disorganised units.

Graziani reorgs the Ftr at La Spezia.

Over to the Allies.

M/A 1940 Allied 6

In Paris a victory parade was held as the "impenetrable line" proved to stop German troops once and for all. French are not yet introduced to offensive chit...

No DoW.

US and CW combined, USSR, France and China land.

Naval air: Albacore from Denmark to Baltic Sea box 2.

Naval: Transporter with London MIL to North Sea box 1.

Three sea areas where action is possible.

CW initiates combat in Baltic Sea. Does Germany want to fly with Hs123?

Allied 8, Axis 5. No combat with those rolls in Baltic Sea.

CW is not interested to fight in Western Mediterranean. Italian coast is different thing and CW wants some action. Does Axis want to fly those planes in La Spezia to sea? They look like they are waiting for invitation...

Germany has naval bomber He115 and Italy has fighter CR.42.

The fighter can go to the 0-box. What box could the Nav get to?
