How many turns per day do you two usually do?

Weekends we can do 2-3, but Allies are away today and won't get to the turn until either late tonight or Sunday morning. I expect we will have this nailed down within 24 hours.

I am hanging onto my turn, pondering and double checking things. It is pretty much done...Will send it out early this evening.

Suspense getting to you? Will I wake up in the middle of the night to check for a fresh turn? Ah, the joys of WITP AE which you uninstalled!

Haha, yeah following this REALLY makes me itch for AE again. I reread parts of my old AAR looking for some CV strikes. Didn´t help with the itch one bit! [:D]

Perhaps the sheep will return. [:)]

I just checked Mr. Kanes composition when he went toe to toe with you. He had 10K AA in each of CarDiv 1-2 fleets. Impressive...

Keep in mind though that its DBB. Late war allied CVs have like 3,5k AA value each. [:)]

They weren't the transport version, and it still wouldn't matter load greater than 10 no carry.

That tank was load 7 so all good![:)] WAD.

Is it load 10 no carry, or load 10 no paradrop? [;)]

Because you can definitely transport IJA squads by air and they are load 15+.

Devices count toward load limits. Squads do not. Any inf/eng/support squad of just men can be flown, including MMG squads that are more than 9 load costs.

Anything load 9 or below can be lifted. Some tanks have been listed as less than that and that was a mistake.

See Symon/JWE's response to my post here a few posts later in this thread about airlifting! [;)]

The more I think about it, though, the more I like the idea that if it could fit in a Mavis then you just need a rubber dingy big enough to get it to the beach... [:D]

Turn is away...maybe late tonight, tomorrow morning sometime...

Dispatched another midget sub, this time for Brisbane area. Perhaps Sydney...one of those two was the high water mark of midget warfare, actually hit something there![X(]

From Wikipedia:

At 23:14, Muirhead-Gould ordered all ships to observe blackout conditions.[59] Just after 23:30, he set off on a barge towards the boom net, to make a personal inspection.[60] The Admiral reached Lolita at about midnight and indicated to her crew that he did not take the reports of enemy submarines seriously, reportedly saying: "What are you all playing at, running up and down the harbour dropping depth charges and talking about enemy subs in the harbour? There's not one to be seen."[60] The crew reiterated that a submarine had been seen, but Muirhead-Gould remained unconvinced and before he left, added sarcastically: "If you see another sub, see if the captain has a black beard. I'd like to meet him."[61]

Historians are divided as to the exact paths of the torpedoes relative to Chicago, although all agree that the US cruiser was the intended target. Both torpedoes missed Chicago, while one torpedo may have also passed close to Perkins' starboard bow.[63][64]

One of the torpedoes continued underneath the Dutch submarine K-IX and HMAS Kuttabul, then hit the breakwater Kuttabul was tied up against.[64] The explosion broke Kuttabul in two and sank her, and damaged K-IX.[12][65] The attack killed 19 Royal Australian Navy and two Royal Navy sailors, and wounded another 10.[66] The explosion shook residences in the area and damaged Garden Island's lights and telecommunications.[65] The other torpedo ran aground on the eastern shore of Garden Island without exploding.[65] M-24 then dived and moved to leave the harbour.[67]

Game stuff:

Finally starting to get the worthless MTBs. I have one, with more arriving. I will use them in the same manner as Midget subs...target practice for the Allies.[:D]

Set a CAP Trap with some Es over at Trinkat where he has some more assault bombers flying low, and Ventura flying high. See what a combined Tony and Oscar CAP can do.

Night bombing in the Marianas, leaving my CAP up over Saipan, even reinforced it. Abandoned Pagan, as I bet it is swept and bombarded mercilessly and the CD guns that were meant for there are now at Iwo...I don't fancy on having 150 fighters shelled.

I am still holding on Tuang Gyi road...& Moulmein.

Cross your fingers my ships remain dark!

... Hm...makes sense to me. Database error. Is the fix for us to simply edit the tanks to 10? That simple?

No.

With the snail pace you two are playing I will have lost both sight, sense, ability to use a toilet AND my hearing before you are done... [:D]

Night bombing by Japan ineffective, except for causing a squadron of Hellcats to be put on night time CAP.

A scare at Woleai: 4 Yank destroyers close with a dozen xakls ferrying troops and supplies, but the canny IJN Commander evades.

A Yank sub gets a shot at an xAP carrying the 1st Indpnt Regiment headed towards the Bonin and misses...whew.

Battleships come calling at Saipan...

Juicy targets in the Bonins, spotted. Will he move the deathstar or ships from the deathstar north and try to catch them?
