5.0 Scenarios

It is currently stated that there will be 170+ revised scenarios in 5.0. I have 235 in my scen files. To avoid any overwrites, would it be possible to post the updates so the ones that are not included can be moved to higher slots for later editing. Eagerly awaitng to support the Matrix team financially for your outstanding achievements.

If I don't remember wrong, so in 4.5 came scenario manager. Use it to move your current scenarios to slots700 and up. This is IF you want to keep them. In vers5 scenarios have looked up for errors, mostly icons and some OOB. IE: If you have a bunker in 4.5 scenario, it shows up as a halftrack. This kinda stuff is fixed. ( But not all I'll assume...)

I would suggest saving a copy of these scenarios in a temporary file when you upgrade to 5.0. This way you know that you won't lose anything.

Before you install version 5.0, copy your entire \Scen directory to a temp directory on your hard drive or to a zip drive if you have one.

After the game is installed, compare the dates and numbers (just click on the txt file of each scenario to see what it is) and you can be sure and (1) not overwrite any you don't have in the install and (2) make sure you have the latest versions of the ones you do have.

That is how I would do it.
