Western Med rolls: Axis 7, Allied 4. CP survived first impulse.

France rails Marseilles MIL to Lille.
USSR rails another GARR to Vladivostok.

France is trying to make the line strong enough.

No attacks.

CW rebases Spitfire in South Africa to same hex with transporter.
If your attack is going really well, it's an ambush.

The CL's stop in the 0-box.

An Amph sails into the China Sea and loads a 6-4 Inf from Japan.

The U-boat initiates searching in the North Sea. Do the CW wish to add any extra air?

The U-boat captain decides travelling on the surface with no look-outs would be a novel way of surprising the enemy. Once the CW had picked themselves off the floor and regained a serious composure, Darwin's Law kicked in on such a creative mutation (searches Axis 9, CW 1; enough said).

In the Japanese Coast both sides barely manage to find the sea (USSR 10, Jap 9).

The Italians use their supply unit on Balbo to keep things moving in Egypt.

The Japs move an Inf into the mountains in Manchuria and shuffle units around near Shanghai, abandoning Nanking.

The Germans shift units around for their main effort this impulse. The Italians will be attacking Alexandria.

The final odds. Do the Allies wish assault table for both?

Question: Why is artillery OOS in Alexandria?

EDIT: On my screen artillery gets supply from Cairo.

EDIT 2: Just tested, it goes OOS when I bring more units to adjacent hex. After save and reload artillery is back in supply. If you want to cancel or attack other hex in Egypt that is OK for me.

Allies choose assault table in both combats.

No idea but I've reloaded and now it's back in supply. Only thing is, I'll now need to go back to Ground Support as I didn't add this in as the odds looked good enough.

I had to reload when I spent the supply unit as initially the units supply status didn't change. Revised odds.

At Alexandria the defenders put up some strong resistance initially (fractional not made) but once this is broken, the city falls to the Italians.

The Japs rebase a Nav to Bonin Islands and one in China.

On a 3 the turn nearly ends.

On a 9 the weather turns out nice.

M/J 1940 Allied 9

Allied negotiation before impulse starts:

France: Could it be anyway possible for all to pass? Next time Germany attacks they will break trough our line.
US: Sure.
USSR: Sorry, we need to hit Japan when it is possible.
China: Sorry, we need to hit Japan when it is possible.
CW: Sorry, we have some very important stuff to do. Hang in there France!

No DoW.

China, France and USSR land, CW combined, US pass.

USSR makes a port attack in Seoul trying to sink a transporter. Both rolled 9, no effect.

CW transports Spitfire to Red Sea.

CW is trying to search Italian convoys in Italian Coast. Allied roll 3, Axis 9.

4 surprise points are used to choose naval combat type surface. No effect for Allies.
2 points are used to increase own damage (to D 2A) and 3 points are used to select target (convoy).
Italy choose targets for 2 aborts.
