Mayhemizer, it was rather risky to attack in Egypt with Gort and no other MOT / MECH / ARM unit. I don't rememeber the die roll, but it seems to me that Gort was sent back to the force pool then.
Nice job in China and Manchuria.

The trouble with poor German rolls is that they are addictive for the French player. When Germany attacks France and rolls low, you kind of hope (and even expect) it to last. It occurred to me once, and seeing everything was fine in France in M/J 40, I fully expected to last into 1941. No such luck, a couple of good rolls and an O-chit later, France got Vichyfied in J/A 40

True, I kind of was sure France will last long as the start of German attack failed. But rolls got better and France is beaten down faster than ever. And I did not remember that unit is not allowed to be railed to ZoC hex if there is no other units. Now Paris is empty.

And I should have chosen assault in Egypt when attacking without Mot...

Damn rolls... With Assault both would have lost one more unit, now Japanese are only shattered.

I made a decision on your behalf to take assault in Manchuria. With blitz city would have been lost automatically. I hope that was OK?

EDIT: CW still has units in Denmark and Germany is guarding that they stay behind straits.

On the bright side Germany spent both its O-chits.

CW units in Denmark are looking juicy!!! I'd get them out and put them in the Med before its too late (battle for Gibraltar and/or Axis sweeping through the Mideast). USSR might see a Caucus front.

I suspect your opponent could have preferred to destroy the MIL (cost : 2, time : 1) instead of the GAR (cost : 2, time : 2)

That might be true, but it doesn't matter in this disaster and I think shattered MIL goes to home town, so I need to rail it.

I have so many shattered units and so few cities near front line that some units will be far away anyway. In China I prefer to kill GARR before MIL as there is no rail ways from every city.
