Not sure how this goes right. Should I disorganize German NAV or Italian CA? Or does Italian CA intercept without anyone else being disorganized as they intercepted Trans earlier?

Round 2: Axis 2, Allied 6.

How will Italy use their surprise points? And will it be naval air combat?

Why does Italy spend french surprise points?
They were Italian points, not French points.

I think the CA disorganised earlier should initiate the search.

You had the rolls right but the Italians are surprised this impulse so they always have 0 surprise points in naval combats as long as they are just fighting the french.

Italy had to disorganize another CA. Axis rolled 4 and game crashed. Will take few moments...

Yes, you are right. It was the French choice, not the Italians.

We go back to Italian coast combat and France chooses naval air combat.

France used 2 points to increase own air to air value and 2 points to decrease Italian air to air value.

Rolls were far from mediocre...

France keeps fighting, how about Italy?

EDIT: Why did I use 2 points to decrease Italian air to air value is a good question with no answer...

Italy aborts all ships to La Spezia?

Something weird has happened. France has now cruisers in Bordeaux and Brest even they sailed to sea. Also Trans that sunk is in Nice. I don't mind about cruisers, but we need to deal somehow that Trans later so that Axis are not allowed to use it.

Game also crashes every time damaged BB is trying to return to France and Italy intercepts. Maybe that has something to do with first intercept, as Trans was sunk but it is in Nice now...

EDIT: Game also crashes if Germany is intercepting.

I don't know. Best thing I can suggest is to go back to the auto-saves, select phasing naval combat - choose sea area, replay the combats and see if it resolves this.

I went back to phasing naval combat. Trans is in Nice and cruisers in ports. I think I need to further back. And game still crashes. When Axis roll for intercept, game moves to Naval Intercept phase and French planes are capable to fly. After that game freezes.

EDIT: Going back to Naval Movement is not helping. In that case CW is not allowed to move any ships.

With this problem looking like a potential game breaker as the initial attempts to fix/back track haven't worked, Mayhemizer and myself have decided to halt this and start over back in Solitaire mode.

Had the Axis been in a better position I would have been more motivated to find a solution but not now. We're chalking it up as an Allied victory following a Axis morale check failure!

Stay tuned for the new AAR as we again seek to join battle.
