Something trivial...

...but would still like to have this: In Harpoon2 I liked seeing little pics of all the platforms, I also liked hearing vampire-vampire-vampire on hostile weapon launch. I saw a video today on youtube promoting Command and it made me think it had more multimedia - voice, etc.

Game is good but would like better if it had more multimedia.

Found this just now; Database Images & Descriptions Add-ons but it says 14 hours to download 1.8GB. Too long, way too long. DB needs a faster server.

Check the pinned thread for "updated DB image and description pack..." there should be another direct dl link as well as a torrent link on the last page. Unfortunately my account seems to have been lost due to the new account format or what not and since I am a "new" account I can't actually link you to it.

Jan Masterson has set up some mirror URLs that download the image files a bit quicker. They are listed below. FYI, I'm planning on releasing an updated image and description package in the near future (within the next 30 days).

FTP:
http://warfiles.org/DBImages12-30-14.zip (1,7 Gb)

Ok, got the DB images dloaded and installed now, thx. The FTP server was much faster for me.

It says to unzip into the DB folder but think that should be DB/images/ folder, which is where I put the unzipped folders and it functions correctly.

Seahag... pinned on the main forum page... will also give you sounds/speech - very customizable (it reads from the log so events have to appear there) to include pretty much anything you wanted, so go for vampire-vampire if you like (I think the consensus when discussed in the forum previously was that got a little tiresome after a while)

Best wishes,
Chris

Yea, In Harpoon2 vampire did get a bit repetitious but it kept me awake at least. :)

Will check out the voice mod now, thanks.
