Yamamoto does the same.

Onto Finland and its a 2:1 north of Helsinki

The Axis bring in two bombers and have a fighter it can intercept with. What aircraft do you use and what table will you choose?

No aircraft and assault.

Neither HQ makes any difference with throws of 8 and 5.

The Finnish attack first. It's 2:1 no modifiers on the Assault Table. Fractional Odds take this to 3:1 but the throw is a 5

I assume you will choose Assault for China x3?

The first attack is that in southern China. Again fractional odds increase the attack to a 4:1 and the throw of 7 destroys the Chinese unit at a cost of disorganisation.

The next attack is that south of Tsinan. Its a 3:1 no modifiers and Fractional odds make no difference 4.

The result is all three units are wiped out. Wow that really was a fight to the death!

And so to the final battle. Its a 2:1 no modifiers and no change due to fractional odds. The result is an 8.

No declarations of war.

CW take a combined impulse while France take a land impulse.

No Port Strikes. No naval air.

CW send a carrier force to the Italian Coast. HMS Hermes join the French Fleet in the Western Mediterranean.

CW initiate combat in the Italian Coast. France decline to fly any air support. Will the Italians reinforce their forces in the area with a group of fighters?

Ormster I am heading out for about an hour max. Can you make decisions for me please? I am looking to be generally aggressive as there is no point in mucking about with the game as is.

I thought that the Allied roll of a '5' was a miss but it turns out that those Gladiator pilots earned their pay and spotted the Italian convoy.

HMS Hood saved against the abort.

With plenty of convoy points in reserve the Italians decided that the convoy was to be sacrificed in order to save a cruiser.

Both sides decide to stay in the sea area but both sides fail to find the enemy.
