GTA V has 160,000 lines of dialogue and almost 20 hours of radio stations and a dynamic soundtrack.

I had so much fun with the game that I will gladly purchase it again for PC. I have the PS4 version already.
And my wife likes playing it too and is one of the games we enjoy playing together.

I would go one further and say it is one of the better games ever. As I become older and get into old man 'get off my lawn' mode, I find more and more AAA games have things that I don't like.

But GTA V is an achievement on every level. Even the online mode is fun. I normally despise online gaming and the people who play them, but GTA online is fun because you can actually play the mode as intended or find a random group of people and dick around and slaughter one another. Normally in online worlds chaos is what happens because of the nature of online gaming. But in GTA online when chaos occurs that is a highlight of the game. I have literately had trouble breathing at times from laughing so hard when things go wrong.

I have not enjoyed a AAA game this much since Dragon Age Inquisition. But even DOI had some issues. I would probably give it an 8.5
GTA V might very well be one of my few perfect 10 games.

This spring has been a good time for games, Cities Skylines, GTA V, Pillars of Eternity (why don't more games use 2-D hand drawn sprites?!!) and next month the Witcher 3

Maybe next year we get given game on multiple BDs. Or are those already on the market?
You know what they say, don't you? About how us MechWarriors are the modern knights, how warfare has become civilized now that we have to abide by conventions and rules of war. Don't believe it.

I have 430 hours of play time on Skyrim. I'm sure someone has more than that, but damn what a bargain that was, huh?

After seeing a you tube trailer. Nice but the realty of this happening? It reminds me of a Fast and furious film or any action film these days. The stunts done by the main characters are almost physically impossible. The trailer I saw had the main character eliminate 25 law enforcement officers and he escaped without a scratch. He clibmed and jumped what would be impossible distances.

Now, I don't mean to take away from the accomplishment of the game. Which is huge. I'm just noticing more the glaring exaggerations in action films/games. I still go and see action films and play games that do the same. But I don't own this title and probably won't get it for the reason I pointed out.

I have GTA San Andreas on the phone when I feel like channeling some inner city ghetto thuggery. That game is one hilarious stereotype parody from top to bottom. Not sure what this new one would bring to the table, but S.A. gets repetitive quick.

Needing 60GB for a game in 2015 is...manageable.

Needing to free up 70+GB for an X-Plane 9 full install ~8 years ago (when a 250GB hard drive was typical) was a much bigger pain, IMO.

If you are playing video games for the reality of them, then I have to question why you play video games.

I'll admit I haven't played a video arcade type game in years. Its just me, the action films I see are so exaggerated and I've seen a ton of them. Seeing that trailer just glared out at me as what i'm tiring of seeing in action films. Guess, my vision of what is enjoyable is changing.
My wife tells me I'm more irascible after an industrial accident 1 and a half years ago. I notice it myself sometimes. Maybe, that's effected some, my view of things today.
