The CW allow the French CA to absorb the punishment. Remarkably, it survives.

Germany will stay and fight.

Question: How does the French CL get into the Baltic 4 box if Denmark is conquered?
Conflict with the unexpected: two qualities are indispensable; first, an intellect which, even in the midst of this obscurity, is not without some traces of inner light which lead to the truth; second, the courage to follow this faint light. KvC

2nd impulse S/O. Now it is in box 3. Denmark was conquered little later.

Searches of Allied 8 and Axis 6 ends the battle. 10 and 9 in the Baltic is a non-event.

Russia, and both sets of Chinese make some minor land adjustments.

The CW swap the Spitfire and P-40 in Amsterdam. A Hampden rebases to Malta.

Nimitz reorgs a Trans while Gort reorgs the Queens and that wraps things up for the impulse.

The French naval report above said 4 box...which lead me to believe it came from a French port into the Baltic.

I guess it is a mistake or misleading in purpose. We all know Allies and their habits...

Yes, it was typing error by myself, following several various computer problems leaving me having to repeatedly re-type the text. It should have said North Sea. Original post now edited.

Italian Trans sails to Italian coast and picks up Mech.

Japanse G3M2 attacks Ghangsha with great result.

Germany rails Mot div from Denmark to Frankfurt and GAR from Breslau to Kopenhagen.

Germany prepares to attack in Poland. Troops move in Netherlands and near Belgian border, waiting for better weather.

Only one attack is done. Some might call it "close call", Germans call it "Peace of cake".

The Axis initiate searching. The CW send the Vildebeast to the 2-box. The He-115 files as ordered. Searches of Axis 7 and Allied 8 draw a blank.

The French continue preparing the line. CW makes a couple of adjustments, as do the Chinese. The Poles move to try a long odds attack on Konigsberg. CW Mot disembarks at Suez.

One land combat declared at Konigsberg 9.5:5 +1. Do the Axis wish to add any ground support and which table?

Well, it was always a long-shot. Still, I'd rather take a 7 here than in some crucial combat.

The Spit rebases back to the UK from Amsterdam. The French move their fighter slightly.

No re-orgs.

Over to the Axis.
