HR empire is up, I didn't know that was a regime.
History began July 4th, 1776. Anything before that was a mistake.

OK, something is not right with the turn in dropbox (HRempire turn 6 from 4/14). I opened it and it was the turn from the time before except the offer of alliance from the sun empire wasn't there. All the moves I made previously were gone too. It said I was opening turn 6 a second time. I went back and looked in dropbox / old turns and my old turn 6 from 4/13 is there. I have this turn open and if I close it without moving again do I lose my turn? What happened?

I put the HR Empire file T.06 into the Dropbox yesterday (4/15). I'm Sun Empire. Its possible I could have made a cockup but everything seemed fine when I played the turn.

In the Old Turns file, there is a HRempire turn5 and turn6. There is also an Easternempire turn6 and a Sunempire turn6. Since Easternempire moves after me, and Sunempire moves first (before) me, I think what might have happened is the last person in the move sequence forgot to change to turn 7 when they saved and put it in the dropbox. I will play my turn and save it as turn7 for Easternempires next move.

Glad to be playing this one out, and for a newbie, the ability to see my allies troops, etc., has let me see how more experienced players are able to maximize their forces, and how they conduct their offensives. Worth the price of admission! [:D]

The Sun Empire has attacked The Holy Roman Empire in force. There are enemy subs causing problems in the sea lanes. At the front, we counterattacked the hordes of Sun Empire infantry, with mixed results. The well planned enemy offensive has our backs to the wall, but we are not deterred. This unprovoked Sun Empire aggression will be stopped cold by the brave forces of peace. There has been a bit of a shakeup in the High Command though, for not having our Armed Forces better prepared to meet this blatant attack on Freedom! [X(]

Actually our offensive wasn't really all that well planned. Our boys were just feeling a bit bored and wanted to have a go at something.

But nice to meet you all the same....;-)

The British capture the first of the Russian northern cities Krasn, also closing in on Kursk and Akita. The British are impressed by the superiority of the Russian tanks with their superior firepower over the best British tank the MK1 roll on 1938.

The Holy Roman Empire and Sun Empire trade heavy blows in the south. However the future of the Sun Empire outpost of Akita looks bleak, even with the support of the armor of the Eastern Empire.

The Eastern Empire's Tanks have rolled into The Holy Roman Empire, supported by hordes of Infantry. The Russian armor is the tip of the spear, with the Sun Empire's armed forces also pressuring the Italian's. Though they took heavy losses, our armed forces were able to blunt the tip of the spear and bloodied the invader's nose!

The New Union city of Dachau is surrounded but quite stubbornly resisting. Production priorities have been reset for the Burgundy empire, the new year is coming and production of advanced technologies will be possible.

Also, Naval action in the East Burgundian Sea has sank several generic destroyers of the New Union.

Status more or less unchanged from last turn, new forces arriving and a new building program underway.

I see someone has placed the new Bombur 0.90 version in the 0.85 games dropbox folder. Are we using the new version in our ongoing game now?

Akita has been captured by the British also they are closing in on Kursk.

On the main front the British are fighting along two Isthmuses both blocked by formidable Russian tanks, looks like quite a slog.

The Sun Empire continues to attack the Holy Roman Empires forces with combined heavy artillery, armor and infantry along the front south of Tamura. Both sides are taking fairly heavy losses. Supporting Sun Empire is a formidable Eastern Empire force further north. They appear to be making good territorial gains.

The northern Sun Empire of Atika is now vanquished by the British and they look very near to taking Kursk also. On a brighter note, Burgundy has completely surrounded the supreme HQ of the Empire in Glasgow. However enemy forces in support of the Empire have landed on the east coast and look to be determined to relieve the Glasgow siege. We wish Burgundy all the best and wish we could give some support, but Sun Empires forces are too far away.
