I can't believe someone recently claimed that my die rolled good search rolls. [:@] [;)]

So what sea box(es) will Italy include in the combat?

The Italian ships slaughtered the Allied convoy.

Will the Italian forces stay in the sea area or abort?

Edit: CW stay in the sea area.

No strategic bombing. No ground strikes.

The Soviet Union liberate Riga. The Chinese Communists advance into Manchuria. The Soviet forces on the West Front continue retreating.

USSR attack Harbin.

The Italians take a Combined and the Japanese and Germans a Land each. The attacks now will become more and more desperate as the economics of the Axis position is rubbish and getting worse by the impulse.

I could of course give up but that would be selling Hitler and Tojo short.

The Italian 2nd Fleet sails for the Western Mediterranean commanded by Campioni's no.2 Admiral Iachino in his Flagship Conte Di Cavour.

The CW can bring in a Gladiator. Orm if you do not respond in 5 mins I will say no to flying on the basis I have no air assets and it can only reach the 0 box.

Okay so no Gladiator. But its all for nothing anyway as throws of 10 and 9 see no naval action.

The Romanians and Italians take a couple of speculative ground strikes against Chisnau and the French Mountain Corps respectively. Neither were successful....

Meanwhile the Germans attempt to ground strike Vitebsk and the Soviets have a decision to make - do they intercept with a 4-strength fighter? The Germans can counter with a 6-factor unit.

The Italians rail an INF north to Milan.
The Germans rail a MOT DIV to Cernauti
The few Germans in the East push on
The Italians launch a massive, all-out, no-holds barred offensive against Tunisia. Be afraid....very afraid....
The Japanese try and put some pressure on the Chinese with their ever dwindling number of troops, while the 1st Tanku Army (is that Japanese for Tank?) are landed in Vladivostok with orders from Hirohito ringing in their ears:

Banzai! Do not stop until you get to Moscow!

Three attacks are announced - One in the mountains in southern China, Riga and Vitebsk.

In Latvia the Scharnhorst is called upon to land some 11-inch on the Soviet 3rd Guards Cavalry guarding the capital.

The attack in China is currently 3:1 (and the Japanese are 7 away from making it 4:1 and have no attacking HQ. Does Chiang want to try HQ Support?

The odds at Riga are 5:1 but you can bring in a bomber from Novgorod that will reduce to 2:1 (or likely 3:1 with fractional odds)

At Vitebsk the odds are exactly 3:1. I have used HQ Support which could increase to 4:1. You have 3 bombers you can bring in (or two if you use one at Riga). You have a 4-FTR and I have a 6-FTR.

I fly the Novgorod bomber in support of Riga and land it, if it survives, in Leningrad.

Well I mucked that up [:(]. I could have brought a Dornier in with a Zerstorer for company but totally missed the presence of the Me-110...

Ho hum. The Soviet bomber doubles the Soviet defence of Riga.

3 was added to the Japanese score and I must pray to the Fractional Odds Dice God now.....

HQ support is a 2 and works. So that leaves three attacks

Riga - 2:1
Vitebsk - 3:1
China - 3:1

First to Riga then, where I would be amazed if this does not become 3:1 and the odds are 17:6. It will be on the Assault table.....

...it stayed at 2:1!!! What the....?

And the throw was a 4 so the attacker loses a unit and is disorganised.
