Axis roll 7, Allies 5 and combat is over. Aborted CL goes to Plymouth or somewhere else?

North Atlantic: Axis 5, Allies 8 = No combat.
Cape Verde Basin: Axis 8, Allies 6 = No combat.
Cape St. Vincent: Axis 1, Allies 1. We definitely have a combat.

How does CW uses their surprise points?

Increase Allied damage to D 3A or
Decrease Axis damage to A?

Italy uses points to choose a target. And target is a transporter with MIL.

EDIT: Italian sub is also damaged on a roll 5.

Italy is not sure if they want to stay or not with damaged sub.

After long thinking sub stays and fights. I guess I don't need to ask if CW stay or not?

Axis 4, Allies 9 = combat is over.

Where does damaged transport want to go?

Western Med: Axis 10, Allies 6 = no combat.
Red Sea: Axis 8, Allies 6 = no combat.

Next up: Major ground strike in Amsterdam and something little in Alexandria and Warsaw.

Forgot to mention land moves:

Japan rails HQ to Northern China to get MIL in supply so that it can advance closer to partisan. MIL from coast is railed close to Communist Chinese front.

Germany takes Brussels and moves few units in Western Europe. Japanese units move hex or two in front line.

Japan uses attacking HQ support. Will Chinese choose assault or blitz?
