The Germans re-base aircraft on the Eastern Front.

The weather kills me once again though - Storm where I have the majority of Japanese ground troops. Fine everywhere else.

What do you expect during the monsoon season?

Sunshine. Brilliant sunshine that will enable my glorious (and peace-loving) troops to go about their business (massacring Chinese soldiers and butchering the Chinese peasantry) to their hearts content in the name of the Emperor. Is that really too much to ask for?

France take a air impulse while CW take a combined.

No Port Strikes. No naval air.

CW send two transports to the East Mediterranean where they embark two infantry units. CW send two cruisers to the Western Mediterranean.

CW initiate combat in the Italian Coast sea area. Will Italy use any air support?

After the naval combat is finished in the Italian Coast, CW will search in the Eastern Mediterranean. Will Italy use any aircraft there?

The Allies decline to fly to both sea areas.

No combat in the Italian Coast since Allies rolled a 10 and Italy rolled a 2.

In the West Med the Allies rolled a 4 and Italy rolled a 5.

Which Italian ship will recive the first 'X'?

Hits are to be apportioned

Fiume
Garibaldi
Duca D'Aosta
Zara

Once again losses spread before sinking please.

I am going to be off line for about half an hour but will stick around. If another round then same rationale for taking losses please.

Both sides stay in the West Med. Allies find with a roll of 1 while Italy roll a 7. Allies use all their surprise points to increase the damage done to the Italian ships.

I just happened upon this AAR. Its nearing the end of J/A'40? Is there a photo of the main western front?

Anytime the French can sink Italians is friggen gold!
Conflict with the unexpected: two qualities are indispensable; first, an intellect which, even in the midst of this obscurity, is not without some traces of inner light which lead to the truth; second, the courage to follow this faint light. KvC

Nothing new on The West Front. But I will post a picture in a couple of minutes.

HMS Valiant is damaged in the battle against the Italian Navy. A couple of French battleships are aborted.

With only damaged Italian ships remaining in the sea area I take it upon me to abort the Italian fleet.

What happened to the Western Front? Looks like the French will be around in 1941, maybe 1942 as well. Was this an experiment?

Somehow this happened. This was also the main reason that we started game three and four that we try to run simultaneously with this one.

I'll let Warspite1 explain the why and the how.
