While I Was Away

From the first clash at Manassas to the epic confrontation between Lee and Grant, the Brother Against Brother series will bring new levels of historical detail and realism to the battles of the Civil War. This regimental-level game, created by the developers of the award-winning Forge of Freedom, builds on that game’s acclaimed tactical engine, adding scrupulously researched orders of battle, high-quality map graphics, command and control rules reflecting the numerous challenges faced by army commanders, and plenty other features. Beginning with The Drawing of The Sword – which recreates the pivotal opening battles at Manassas , Wilson ’s Creek, Mill Springs and Williamsburg – Brother Against Brother lets you refight the Civil War from start to finish.

While I Was Away

Post by Missouri_Rebel »

Been at our property out in the deep woods since middle of last week without internet, save for intermittent hotspotting from my phone. Congratulations on the release. I was given the privilege of an early alpha peek at the game but was busy with other projects at the time and never fully followed the development of BaB.

We will be going home to relative civilization this weekend and when I arrive BaB will be an automatic purchase for me. The reports look very promising and I cannot wait to see what WCS has come up with. It really looks good. I have to say that I'm glad that counters are implemented as they seem to be more to my liking. I'd love to see them further tweaked in the future along with the unit sprites and updated info screens.

BTW, the fishing has been great. Decimated the Crappie with over 300 caught. I lost count. Even the Cats were hitting. Surprising considering how early it is.

Again, congrats Gil and Eric.

PS. Gil, clean out your PM box. It's full and wont accept any more.

most staff need more in box space imo, or the ability to save / zip the most important ones any way, then empty a few 1000 or so[:D][;)]
