Looks like the driver is from 2009. So you are certain there is no new version available?

I had a look at the Radeon website: http://support.amd.com/en-us/download
It looks like the Radeon 1xxx series drivers are only available for WinXP and Vista, while you are on Windows 7 :/

i know you know more or less about the same as me, but can you try and see if you can update the driver

http://support.amd.com/en-us/download#

auto detect will sort it and grab the latest, as i'm sure your numbers are a few back from the latest

you more than meet the minimum req tbh

Pentium 4 or equivalent
2Gb RAM
512Mb DirectX 9 video card with shader model 2.0
CD ROM Drive (not required for the digital version)
DirectX Compatible Sound Card
DirectX 9.0c or higher (included in installer)

so maybe something else, but support will fix you with that.

was typing at same time again it seems[:(]

he's boss so take his adivce ^^ and yes 10.2 is later that one installed, but there maybe a newer one but auto will find it and install it
Windows 11 Pro 64-bit (10.0, Build 26300) (26100.ge_release.240331-1435) 26H2 26300.9550

Hiya Lukas, yes when I purchased my PC a few years back, it came with Windows Vista, I then upgraded to Windows 7. I have well over 30 games by Matrix,Ageod,Slitherine & Lords Games Studio, so far they all run without any problems. Its not a huge problem, if I need to go out and buy a new graphics card tomorrow, then that is what I will just have to do, I thought that there might be a work around in the mean time so that I could play the game, I have changed the compatibility settings, and yes I have downloaded the latest driver for my old graphics card, so as I said earlier, looks like I'm going shopping tomorrow, for a new graphics card.[:D]

Hi zakblood, yip I have already checked for the latest driver for my graphics card, I might try a manual search, but auto detect said I have the latest driver installed already, so go figure?[;)]

manual says

https://driverscollection.com/?H=Radeon ... indows%207

Order of Battle uses the Unity3D engine, which requires a proper 3D graphics card unlike most Slitherine/Matrix games. Several other more recent and future games are using this engine as well however so if you are able to upgrade it would definitely be worth it!

Just make sure whatever you get is compatible with the other hardware. If it's an older PC you should probably not go for the very latest 3D cards either. I'm not expert on this matter however!

also it seems there is a issue with 10.2 as well with win 7 and win 8 i found, so it may not work at all, so a roll driver back would be needed, might be struggling to find one tbh with age, but good luck and let us know how you get on either way

Cheers! Actually I have been that busy working on Commander The Great War, hence the reason that I had forgot about Driver Detective. I'm delighted the game is ok now.[:)]
