[NO ISSUE]RE UNREP CVN magazine

Post by Gunner98 »

Trying to use UNREP to transfer ammunition from an AOR to a CVN. When I tell them to UNREP, the ships merge as if going to refuel but then break off. I suspect that trying to refuel an CVN trips a trigger somewhere as 'No, can't do that!' [:-] but I'd still like to transfer the Ammo from the Munitions bay in the AOR to the Aircraft magazine in the CVN.

Is this an issue or is that feature not active yet?

Thanks

Sure
Also attached is a savegame close up on the TG.

The CV is: #1638 CVN Dwight D. Eisenhower: it has 'Replenish from Starboard x2 (in)'

The AOE is: #1810 - AOE 1 Sacramento: it has both 'Replenish to Port x2 (out)' and Starboard.

Using the latest production build of 1.071, I can see the AOE (AOE4 - Detroit) transferring units across to the CVN (69 - DDE), ~1700+ of them.

And the CVN aircraft magazine is being filled slowly.

Is this what you are referring to ???

I think that the attached save shows an error on the CVN magazine.
There are some sonobuoys and ADM-141s in the SRBOC magazine. The normal CVN-69 magazine shows the ADM-141s in the carrier's aircraft magazine section.

I think that this happens when something (like aircraft returns with weapons and the loadout is changed) adds it's weapons, that are not in the ship's magazine, are added back to it. It defaults to the first weapon magazine (SBROC in this case) - as I say I have a feeling that this is what happens but I thought it had been addressed in some earlier patch.

The ship's magazine could already be 'corrupted' if this happened before said patch.

Thank you Michaelm, that did the trick.

The CV's magazine was probably corrupted before as I built this a while ago.

Thanks a bunch, now working like a charm
