Yep. The toy tanks and toy soldiers are silly. Counters should be the priority.

And the counters should physically be smaller than the hexes.

I agree, the hexes are large enough to have units that don't obfuscate the terrain.

Weird... Although I generally prefer NATO counters in wargames, in this game, I'm totally addicted to the small figurines...
