Are we like late Rome, infatuated with past glories, ruled by a complacent, greedy elite, and hopelessly powerless to respond to changing conditions?

And finally a sad fair well to the Panzer IIc destroyed heroically in the last counter attack by the Soviets in a attempt to prevent a German victory and retake Moscow. A unit that has taken part with the 4th Panzer Army in every major engagement of the War sadly missed and never to be forgotten.

I guess you were not expecting a Sealion op up until game 14 it had not been attempted, but the downside will be that it will be now a possibility.
And the UK will act on the possible threat, and in doing so focus less on what was historically less important.

And as I have opined about British expectations of a invasion, the British plan of pasting the Axis from air bases in Southern England while goading the Axis by leaving a large force in Brest,
Was a solid plan it means maximum losses to the Axis with relatively light casualties to the British assuming the British can maintain air superiority. And I guess with 4 Aircraft factories built already in the UK the air arms race was likely to favor the British.
