Really worried about practice (not so much) and the race tomorrow (very worried). The Ferrari's seem to be on (or better) the pace of the Mercedes in race mode.....[&:]

... and I was right to be worried. The Ferraris need to back off - this is uncomfortably close now [:(]

A big shout goes out to Will Stevens. Performing really well in the Manor - certainly compared to his teammate.

Getting boring. Might not watch it anymore this year.

Just out of curiosity, why did you think this race was boring? The chasing down of Rosberg and Lewis by Raikonnen was good wasn't it? The result was certainly in doubt. Vettel winning in Malaysia (from my perspective was rubbish) but from a non-boring standpoint was a good thing? That's two races out of four + the "controversy [8|]" of Lewis "backing Rosberg up into Vettel" in China made that race interesting. Australia was not boring to me because I support Lewis but for anyone else, yes it was a snoozefest [>:][>:] - but I would not apply that to the other three.

Bad start, very bad. But great tactics from team.

Nice result.

Lewis needs to respond quickly. Problem is Rosberg seems to have Monaco under control. Unlike at Spain (difficult though overtaking was there) at Monaco it is next to impossible.

We need Pole Lewis [8D]

Today's Monaco was so far the only race I saw this year - and what a odd race it was! Hamilton, controlling the race from start to almost the finish... if it wasn't for Verstappens race accident, the Safety car driving around, and his team f***ing up his race... And the winner is.... Rosberg!!!

Such things happen, once you have luck, the other time it's the opposite. Lauda's grumpy face in the box was hillarious, it's pretty clear where his sympathies are. And then Toto Wolf's interview, one could imagine his belly aches.... Hamilton's behaviour after the race speaks volumes about the character of this guy.

I just can't understand the decisions of the guys at Race Control. Alonso gets 5 seconds penalty for kicking Verstappen [edit: it was Hulkenberg] off-track, whereas Riccardio gets nothing for doing exactly the same with Raikkonen. I think they should allow the drivers to actually race, and not interfering on every occasion when minor things happen - and in doing so, acting inconsistently to the extreme.

Wow, what a crazy ending. Monaco is always crazy. When that safety car came out, I thought, Rosberg has a chance, then of all the crazy things, they get Hamilton to pit.

Hotshi...I agree with what you wrote...too much nit picking...I want to see them race.

I really miss the old (previous) F1 engine sound...and I think they need to go back to that engine/sound and kinda shake things up again...although I am a big Mercedes fan (not so much Hamilton though) and that would probably end their dominance the way it currently is.

I think they said they miscalculated on the safety car vs virtual safety car switch. I know that when Hamilton came out he crowded Vettel almost immediately and said something about supposed to be in front of him. Then they said something about how they thought Vettel and Rosberg were both coming in, but then they didn't pit.

A really strange set of circumstances and Rosberg said he was very fortunate to win, because Hamilton deserved to win.

Poor Lewis [:(]

Totally dominated the weekend from the first turn of the wheel (20 seconds + up the road from his team-mate!) and then....

I guess when they were dishing out bad luck he must have been in the same queue as Nigel Mansell [&:]

I sure hope Vettle and Ferrari can close the power gap to Mercedes soon. I don't like it when one team just dominates. The last decade or so have been up and down with excitement if you look past the Schumacher years, Vettle years. 05-09 where a blast to watch. I hope someday F1 can find its magic again, its too stagnate anymore for engineers to work.
