not as good as 1992 as nothing will top that
Could you please remind me why the '92 was so special?

Because one party was going to be evicted from Government. It wasn't in dispute, it wasn't up for debate; they were going to lose. Every opinion poll, every expert political commentator said so.

And so I settled down expecting to see my worst fears to come true and depart for bed soon after the first few results confirmed it. But.... it didn't happen. Right from the early results coming through, it became clear that something was not right. The vote swing was less than expected - or in some cases, the opposite of what was predicted.....

And then the key marginals started to come through... and they didn't all fall. Some big names lost their seats, but enough were holding on. As each result came in the tension, the excitement just grew and grew. Absolutely no chance of going to bed - I could not leave the T.V screen.

For pure suspense, tension, gripping drama, surprise there was nothing like it. Incredible.

Guess I can post something now, usually watch Babylon5 series I have and been watching Game of Thrones and pretty good series.

Sometimes I watch Seinfeld, my favor part is that old man when Kramer and Newman tried to take his records and pawn it.

Classes start in about a week and I been playing the heck out of "Jagged Alliance Back in Action" . . . trying to "beat" the game at least once in my life and before coursework consumes my time and energy [:)]

Reminds me very much of an old beloved game from Matrix: Hired Guns the Jagged Edge. Absolutely loved that game . . . it has a few flaws but wonderful game. This one reminds of a modernized version of it.

Using the Realistic Rebalancing mod and also a package of little mods by Sbodobyc (sp?) that allows camera tweaking, all loot drops, etc.

ADDIT: JABIA-tools mod by "sbobovyc" which includes:
JABIAcamera.dll (tool allows tweaking camera settings)
JABIAdebug.dll (used to change character variables)
JABIAloot_drop.dll (all enemy gear is dropped, as in JA2 1.13 mod)
JABIAxpmod.dll (changes XP system to be like JA2)
JABIAdurable_weapons.dll (weapon wear and tear is more realistic, i.e., slower)
The x-ray is her siren song. My ship cannot resist her long. Nearer to my deadly goal. Until the black hole. Gains control...

I'm going to watch the 1966 war movie "What did you do in the War Daddy?". Never seen it before.

Anthropoid -that is a real act a gaming courage !

I'm currently watching "Soviet Storm; World War 2 in the East" - a doco series originally made for Russian TV. Its a bit Russian intense but it carries a lot of small detail. current episode spends an hour on the Crimean campaign alone.

Finishing up a series on Netflix called 'The Killing'. A Seattle based detective drama. I recommend it.
History began July 4th, 1776. Anything before that was a mistake.

Watched a very tastefully done documentary on the Bradford City fire disaster of 1985 last night. What a sad, sad story. 56 football supporters went to watch a match (54 of them to see their team crowned as old Division 3 champions) and never came home.

The speed with which the blaze went from small localised fire in one section of the stand to major conflagration (4 minutes) that engulfed the whole stand was just unbelievable. Many great acts of heroism that day too. Had there been fencing up, the toll could have been unimaginable.

The Killing was excellent.
