I can not continue or select chits for battle, the buttons are below the screen so you can not click them. The rest runs fine up until then...

I'd like to reiterate that the v1.21.01 hotfix for the v1.20.04 public beta fixes this problem and several other issues.

Hopefully I can wrap up 1.21.02 this month and get a package to Matrix Games for a new public beta. Maybe that will help draw players back if it's more official. I could really use some feedback for what I've done so far and help moving forward with some beta testing. I can easily email updates of what I've got to anyone interested in beta testing, and can at least post another hotfix of the EXE when I send files to Matrix. The updated data files and setups will require a new installation package, but the EXE still allows folks to play.

The issue of AI ship building has been frustrating me for several weeks. I reworked code to focus on specific ports, and this works great for major powers but for some reason does not work for the minors. As soon as I run that to ground, I want to get the AI adding ship reinforcements to fleets working. I'm not worried about AI performance yet, those improvements will have to wait until v1.22. In between moments of frustration, I try to tackle other bugs.

One bug I've been looking at is the creation of the Confederation of the Rhein only awarding +1 PP instead of +2. There is a questionable line of code that decrements political_status by -1 which may account for the error and would be an easy fix. But this should also affect creation of Poland (+1) and Ottoman Empire (+2). Has anyone noticed if those PPs are reduced by -1 also or are they correct? This is frustrating to track down, but I intend to keep at it.

Again, anybody interested in beta testing, please jump in. I have not heard from Dancing Bear. Gazfun and folks at Generals HQ do not appear interested. Anyways, the hotfix is already out there for players to try out, and more is on the way, sooner or later...

Hey, I would love to give it a try.. Please send me the exe and I will load and start looking into issues again as I have time.

The main reason I stopped is because I just can't play on my laptop and I got rid of the desk top.

I'm posting a new v1.21.02 hotfix. Please give that a try. Having a few more folks playtest some and provide feedback would be helpful.
