Renaming hex locations

Post by MilesNoctis »

I tried to rename a location hex (city) in the ATG editor after generating a random map. Accordingly, I changed the name and label1 fields in the Hex panel, however, fragments of the old name that overflew into the neighboring hex remained there as artifacts, even after saving the scenario and starting the game. Screenshot attached.

What am I missing?

The label text is kept on a hex-to-hex basis. Hence the remnant. You can manually delete it by selecting the hex with the remnant and then going to 'Hex' tabsheet and deleting the label text there.

You might want to use the clear and reset all labels function though since it is much easier. You can find these 2 buttons in the 'setng' tab.

best wishes,
Vic
