I enabled the officer string as you suggested, but I'm still not getting the button to change the model of a unit for a non-newdawn scenario. I double checked and everything for the auto reinforcement is correct. On a brighter note though, I have figured out though how to add TO&E in a newdawn scenario so at least that is something..... :)

Is possible to save formations for different random games? I mean you load your favourite formation (ie 20 rifle+2 machine gun+1 mortar) in any game. So, you don´t need to create it every time you play a different game.

Its not a bad idea. Thought about it myself as well. There is a slight danger of incompatibility issues though. But it put it on the list anyway.

Version K is uploaded.

It fixes a very serious issue with commander records getting mixed up due to TOE use. (including very high PP cost for new commanders and probably another reported crash).

Any tests under way should restart using the 220K version.

Games with NewDawn3 should now automaticly start in NATO mode. (to avoid confusion)

The Change Model Button can now also show up in the editor if the rulevar for it is enabled. See updated docs on the wiki.

Also do I need to make a new unit for each regime or will each regime be able to use the same TO&E unit as the original. Say I have an infantry Brigade that was made using TO&E and the people for the unit is Sri Lankan. So say India or tamil tigers want to use the same TO&E, can they and the people group automatically change to their regime. Thanks

TOE models are stored on a regime-to-regime basis and are not shared between regimes.

Model Designer => Try out a new Dawn game and you'll find the in-game model designer in the right side of the order buttons bar.

One other thing the system GFX overrule, does that have to be the newdawn scenario or can we make our own. Thanks

Some way to save your TO&E templates is an excellent idea for random games. Perhaps an export/import facility of some kind.

I've made 10 models to change to so far for my Sri Lankan Civil war scenario, but when I go to change the Para unit to the new model it will not let me. I can click on #9 but cannot click on 10 (para).....is there a set limit on the models we can make

the NATO counters are read from whatever overrule directory is specified. So yes you can make your own NATO counter sets.

Confirmed bug. Scroll list doesn't see mouse click on last entry. Will be fixed next version.
In meantime work around is to add one more model to the list (since its only the last item in the list that is unreachable).

this maybe another bug, not sure. I made a TO&E unit with the following..... 20 infantry, 4 machineguns, 3 mortars, 3 RPG's, 4 Recoilless Rifles and 6 Armored cars for a infantry Brigade. But I'm only producing the infantry, machineguns, mortars and RPG's nothing else. in 2 turns My HQ had 18 Armored cars and 12 recoilless rifles plus the infantry equipt I'm producing.

Confirmed. I'm seeing the same behavior in my random test game. I have TO&E templates with SMGs in them but I'm not yet producing SMGs in my cities. Nevertheless SMGs are appearing in my HQs.

I'm also still seeing excessive cost for new officers.

After playing a couple of test random games I'd say the ability to save or export/import your TO&E templates is #1 on my wish list.
