Newbie section?

Having some difficulty - is there a newbie section for new players? Having a hard time piecing together all the add-ons and mods.
Some links work other do not. Is there a update manual and some newbie charts for say IJN player in one area or is it spread over numerous
places and sites?

I think you can find most anything by searching the forums here. Searching for things like "Japan production" or "air coordination" will get you some good results. More recent threads are better, as the betas (and latest official patch) did change a lot of things. The PDF manual has not been updated, but there was a thread within the past year about things that would need to go into an updated manual so that might be a good place to start if you are looking for deficiencies in or corrections to the manual. Alfred started that particular thread.

Is there a particular area you are looking for help with, or just a summary to get you started?

If you want charts/tables, there are several summary documents put together by folks on the forum. I can't remember the poster's name now, but it starts with an "S" I think, and he put up a PDF document that is about a half dozen pages and contains all sorts of useful info.

There is a sticky, I believe on the front page of the AE forum with all the known mods. Unless I hallucinated it...
