Crash When Trying to Reroute USA BP to USSR

This appears to be a repeatable bug. The situation is that I wish to reroute the sea route portion of the BP from Washington DC to the USSR from:

East Coast -> North Atlantic -> Faeroes Gap -> Norwegian Sea -> Arctic Ocean to

East Coast -> Canadian -> Denmark -> Norwegian Sea -> Arctic Ocean

However, when I right click on the East Coast portion of the route to do that the game crashes. I've tried it three times and I got crashes all three times.
