Lightning sweeps. Normally he has been hitting at the edges, does this mean a lot of 4Es are on the way for Osaka?

Not Osaka, every 4E beastie strikes at Gifu, the Ha 45 factory there. Eventually all the fighters are gone, poor play on my part not dedicating more KI100I there.

For whatever reason, the Lilly DB like to take one for the Emperor! This destroyer is also hit with normal 100 kg SAPs too. Left with on fire, heavy damage.

Only 380 fighters and 200 bombers here in the Deathstar, but they are 7 to 8 hexes away. I wonder if they will attack the industry of Japan too?

It could be motorized support...

Hey, that is pretty likely. The CS Nisshin just finished an upgrade, and will be leaving, only 2 DD and one SS are in port, with the DD leaving in 2 days.

Don't rain on my one and only success! It probably is, but this is the once massive tank army.

Turn is away.

Moving lots of shipping back, in anticipation of crazy Deathstar full speed runs.

I had some ships refuse their orders last turn, and they got savaged near Sapporo, xaks and the likes, but there is still one pb left. I hope to use the confusion there to sneak several barges into Hokkaido.

Making some runs to get some of his destroyers. Very close last turn, will try again this turn since nothing is detected.

More troops and AA arriving on Honshu. Great evacuation from Truk is going without a hitch so far. Knock on wood.

Allies night bomb the airfield at Yokohama and lose another 3 B24J but destroy 30 planes on the the ground.

We get a night shot at another carrier and miss.

I have no clue how this fight is taking place, Musashi is supposed to be heading west to Aparri. Aggressive Captain, and we put down a destroyer that was damaged yesterday.

This fight took place up near Rashin; it was one of those long destroyer fights and I would say it was a victory except the CL got nailed by an Allied torpedo.

The reason it is a victory is the torpedoes are spent and two Kongos and destroyers are set to intercept too.

Disaster, the Kongo's intercept but no fight.

Then the goofy Musashi keeps chasing one destroyer during the daylight, can't even sink it, but is only a few hexes north of the Marianas![X(]

Avengers put her down like the rabid dog she was.[:(] Couldn't even watch the replay.

But she was supposed to be heading to the northern tip of Luzon....

My best laid plans, two surface groups to hit the 7 Fletchers near Rashin, foiled. And now Musashi sunk chasing after a lone destroyer. I know it is my fault, since I left the engagement range on the Musashi to 6.

Hurts, it does. Hurts. A Saturday night turn[:-]

Muroran falls on Hokkaido.

Allies have 6 Divisions, plus plenty of tanks and artillery.

Three task forces of barges reinforce Hakodate without any losses.

Indochina...

Still holding on, Allies are trying to flank the road positions. My troops are really being ground down, trying to cycle in some reserve forces and pull of some front line troops for r&r.

Of course Allies have total control of the air, and I really don't want to get destroyed in the open, but it is going to happen.
