If your attack is going really well, it's an ambush.

US places an entry chit the Japanese pool, making 4 in Ge/It and 5 in Jap. No options are taken.

Stay at sea and return to base:

Germany

All war ships in Baltic sea returns to Kiel. Trans to Memel and AMPH to Königsberg.

Italy

2x CA in West Med stay at sea.
CA and CL in Italian Coast stay at sea.
Subs in North Atlantic and Cape St. Vincent to La Spezia.
East Med: Erone to Sicily [74,40], Re2000 to Sicily [72,38] and Macchi C200 to Sicily [74,39]. CL Colleoni stays in East Med, other war ships returns to La Spezia (or if not possible then to Alexandria).

Japan

Set Japanese coast 3 CP to sentry
China Sea: 1 Trans to Yokohama, all other ships from box 3 to Osaka.

No break down corps/armies.

Scrap:

Germany will scrap He112

Apart from escorts, the CW leaves 3 CA in East Med 3-box, 2 subs in Italian Coast 2-box, CA in West Med 2-box and 4 CA/CL in North Sea 3-box.

The French leave the sub in Italian Coast 3-box and 4 CA/CL in East Med 2-box.

Hurricane to Malta. Sunderland to Sicily, Greek ships go to Cyprus and Bengazi. CW ships to Gibraltar.

On RTB, do the Italians wish to intercept the CV, 2 CA and Trans as they head through West Med?

The Italian ships spot smoke on the horizon to the West of them. They give chase but are unable to catch the ships before they get within range of Gibraltar (4 rolled).

Do they want a go at 2 French BB and 4 CA/CL?

The shorter range French ships go to Beirut.

CW scrap 2 CL's.

Have to pop out for an hour. Does Germany wish to reform the 4-4 Inf?

If you mean reforming INF after both (break down) divs are destroyed, yes. I guess it is not yet reforming armies/corps phase which we don't use.

If somebody starts to follow this AAR now I want to show something (that they don't realize immediately that I'm a newbie in this game).

Number of Axis impulses and weather in North Temperate (all initiative rolls rerolled)
M/J 1940 R,F (Allies started, turn ended on a roll 1 after Allied impulse 7)
J/A 1940 F,F,F (Allies started, turn ended on a roll 1 after Allied impulse 7)
S/O 1940 St,R,F (Axis started, turn ended on a roll 2 after Axis impulse 9)

Paris survived S/O. No problem, Axis can still handle the situation :)

Yes, Paris survival is almost entirely due to the turn and weather rolls than any particular skill on my part.
