Anyone hear march music?

Forum dedicated to the Scourge of War Game set during the Napoleonic Wars. Scourge of War: Waterloo follows in the footsteps of its American Civil War predecessors and takes the action to one of the most famous battles in history. It is by far the most detailed game about the final battle of the War of the Seventh Coalition.

Anyone hear march music?

Post by sirhurl »

I hear no march music when my units get the street marching order. I turned on the march music in the options. Anyone has the same problem?

Yes - we found that bug just before launch and unfortunately did not have time to fix it. Pity, as we had some new march music for the game. We hope to get it fixed in the first patch.

I hope somebody will make a MOD with Officers shouting commands after they get their orders. Or a Mod with music...not only for marching :-)

We have authentic, excellent, nation-specific bugle calls for most commands made by our very own RebBugler.

Nation-specific xy - I love this!
Nation-specific - that's the way to go.

My concerns again: Pagpipes?

Marching music is not finalised yet - but bagpipes will certainly be on our wish-list.

Nice, nice, nice...

And Scottish whiskey, I hope.

Product info promises: "Scourge of War: Waterloo offers a lot more realism than any similar title on the market".
So what do the Scottish wear under their kilt in SOW?

Thankfully the game has no camera angle that provides an answer to this question.

LP is our maestro - he did all the sound effects (except the bugles) and arranged all the music in game - he is the guy to ask for bagpipes:)

Do we have any ETA for "nation-specific bugle calls" and music? Days, weeks, month, years, turtle life time?

Nation specific bugle calls are T plus 4 days now and counting, they were released with the vanilla SOWWL you should hear them with every battle command. The first patch will deal with the performance issues people have reported.

Don't think you would want to hear your German or French commands with a flagrant American or English accent. [X(]
