Strategic map

It would nice if you could zoom the strat map in a little

This has been on several wish lists for a while now (including my own). It's something we were hoping to get in, but it kept getting bumped down in priority for other features that are critical to the game. The minimap is however, much larger and higher res than in our older games (it's gone from 540x540 to 2048x2048). But I too hope that we can get a zoomable feature in at some point.

I would like the mini map to be usable. It would be nice to be able to select commanders on the map and plot moves that way. It would make Army size battles a lot easier to get the whole force moving.

It already is.

There are two maps. One is for orientating yourself and moving the camera and the other is for movement. They 'M' key shows you where your troops are now and allows you to move the camera around. The 'N' key allows you to send movement orders and see where your troops will be.

It is but its not. It is awkward not very user friendly. The icons are small even on my 45" screen.
