Is there any problem switching to Windows Defender AV when I want to play SOW and switching back to Webroot when I don't?

no, but why have Webroot on at all and just leave on Defender on it's own, as there all a muchness tbh and i worked for a AV company for 30 odd years, all protect about the same, better habits are better than more protection imo, and if you need a FW better than a standard windows one, then you're doing stuff that maybe you shouldn't be doing either, as FW's are only as good as the person inputting the data into them, one poor protection by past or patch missed any any hacker gets in anyway, and any good one will get past most corp level ones so basic protection for windows will or would do for most people needs, again imo
