Unsorted thoughts.

The anglosaxon view. 1st Army was to take Zu Ling and Wen Zhou, kill anything easily killable to keep supply lines clear. 2nd Army takes Zhou and Hou Fei. 2nd Army reached their goals but i didn't dare to send them into the forest and they ended up hunting militia instead of rushing through the desert. 1st Army got stopped by blown bridges and a missed opportunity when I used the engineers to build stuff instead of keeping them near the front. New units was sent to hold the river while the 1st Army heads west instead. I began preparing some cargoships and units to support a river crossing by landing units behind the river, but an unidentified chinese naval unit put that plan on indefinite hold. 1st Army reached Bator but didn't really have a plan or the forces to take the city and almost got destroyed because of it. Thankfully armor units and a detached division from 1st Army managed to reestablish contact. 1st Army was quickly brought up to strength and could easily take up the fight again.

A thought on production. The Chinese start with 9*8k=72k production, the Anglosaxons 20k+2*8k=36k. The Chinese will lose 3 cities very quickly and the Anglosaxons will get half production from them because they belong to a different people and they can only produce pp, ore and oil. At that point production will be 6*8k=48k vs 36k+3*4k=48k, production is equal. The Anglosaxons can easily afford an early factory which means that the Chinese need to get one as well to keep up in production.

Stratbombing and artillery fire on captured cities only costed me political points, it did not prevent me from getting new units out. You would need to hit the three starting cities or any factories to do any real damage.

I think the chinese has to get some units into the north hills and the woods along the southern railroad. They would make a nice threat to the anglosaxon supply lines and would be difficult to dislodge. Then you could perhaps try to send quick raids from those positions to keep the anglosaxons on their toes. I'm not sure how the Chinese should go about when they go on the offensive. Going across the river to Zu ling and out of the woods to Hou Fei are the obvious targets.

I would like the chance to play as the chinese. Another attempt with switched sides Tinjaw?
