LAN Game?

Forum dedicated to the Scourge of War Game set during the Napoleonic Wars. LAN Game?

Can I get the steps for a LAN game. Not working with our LAN group. Any ideas? HAs anyone tried this. I have x2 IT pros with us :)

should just work, given that internet multiplayer is working. Assuming that everyone's IP is on the same subnet.. Each copy of the game needs a unique serial number to connect. Also check that software firewalls allow SOW through. You might need to provide more error info in the tech support section if there are issues.

In the end we went through the lobby. x2 games one crashed. Internet games I would assume are going to have more issues then LAN. Still no luck after some time and all firewalls down. We play the same group for the last 8 years. Must be something we are missing. No one could see any machine hosting via LAN. Lobby workd fine well 50% success in sandbox games :)

I used a simple internet router with a few friends recently. Get the IP of the host PC and then just direct connect using that IP. Worked fine.

I'm betting firewall and port issues.
I would try static IP through a basic switch or hub if possible.
