if there's no external .txt or .doc you simply open the editor and copy/paste the scenario briefing/notes. I attach the Normandy '44 scenario briefing as .txt. As for Overlord 44, there's a .doc that can be opened via the TOAW scenario selection menu. Read through the thread(s) about the unofficial 3Xb.exe patch that improves gameplay and realism quite considerably.
