Is there any aircraft reference chart available?

I use Tracker for this purpose, and highly recommend that you do also. It is much easier than comparing the stats in-game. For example:

Is Tracker a "stand alone" program ? Or does it need to be downloaded onto the same computer that has WITPAE on it ? My game is on my home computer. I sometimes have some free time at work, and could look at it then.

It is a stand alone program, discussion thread lives here. I believe it needs to be on the same computer as the game. You might be able to run it on your work computer if you move the save-game files to it, but I've never tried that. That feels unlikely.

You can do so. Tracker just needs the .pws file, and the .dll file in the Tracker directory. Note that if you are using a beta patch, you need the .dll from the beta directory (look at the dates modified - use the most recent one).

So long as you point Tracker to the correct location of the .pws file (via the .properties file), it shouldn't matter. You will need Java 6 on your computer to run Tracker, I believe.

You can also play a game across multiple computers. I do so every day.
