RE: Admiral Serak vs Operating
Western Front: This front has not changed dramatically, however the middle of this front is not that strong, but is getting artillery support. Hitting the soft French bomber with my zeppelins. Recaptured Posen, at the same time lost Breslau. Down to one dreadnaught and one armored cruiser, that cruiser will most likely be sunk soon. The Admiral has concentrated on eliminating my fighters, you'll see why in the next post.

RE: Admiral Serak vs Operating
Austro-Hungary: Vienna has succumbed to the despot invaders. Losing the crown jewel Capital of the AH Empire has crushed it's NM down to "0", it's the end, it's all but over for AH. Nearby AH cities also have been captured heaping more injury to the empire. What's funny is: I still hold Cattaro! Had a clash north of Budapest knocking out a Russian unit. Take a look at the management screen in the SS. Take note: That the English lost 2 and a half times more aircraft than ground troops, the French almost equal ratio of troop losses to aircraft. Many of the air-losses had to do with good German air defense from it's fighters. I did not know if AH would be offering a surrender at the end of this turn? or, would it be accepted? So formed a defensive ring around Budapest for good measure...

RE: Admiral Serak vs Operating
Balkans: Finally the Romanian hyenas are jumping on the backs of the Bulgarians, this changes Bulgaria's defensive posture. At least the Bulgarians destroyed the useless Romanian artillery (orange hex). Bulgaria has reinforcements arriving soon, plus once AH surrenders the 2 units there will be repatriated back to Sofia for the final showdown. AH has been losing cities left and right, with no way to recapture them. Varna is gone to the Russians, it was only defended by a SG.
Pay attention to the Bulgarian stats from this turn to next..
Whoops: I may have destroyed the artillery on the previous turn, or the next, I forget...[&:]

Eastern Front: Not a whole lot happening here right now. The Russians are preparing for an end run flanking maneuver to the west of Novo-Georgeievsk, you don't have to be a military genius to figure that one out. The Admiral is not even going to try a direct assault from the east on Keonigsberg, he has moved his units away from there to strike at my rear guard and spread out into the German grasslands...

RE: Admiral Serak vs Operating
Western Front: Berlin's defenses are starting to breakdown, especially with it's fighters all destroyed (no surprise there if you look at what Entente has circled in orange). Germany only has 5 or 6 cities left, many of which are bombed-out. With concentrated air fire-power the Berlin defenders don't stand a chance of surviving another turn, not to mention Germany's NM is at "0". Take note how many airplanes the Germans have shot down to date in the bottom stats screen. I know and the Admiral knows it's all over for Germany, surrender offer will come at the end of my turn. I (bunker mentality) would keep fighting him, if he would let me, however he has consistently accepted surrender offers...

RE: Admiral Serak vs Operating
Eastern Front: Maneuvering To protect Danzig and also have a protective screen so any new reinforcements that can be deployed to the west of Keonigsberg (should Berlin be captured). Can't rely on Stettin as a safe port to park my last fleet in, the fleet is better at Koenigsberg, plus it helps protect the city from naval bombardment. A problem I am trying to work out in my head is: Should I disband this last Dreadnaught fleet before the impending surrender or Not? If the Admiral refuses Germany's surrender offer, it will result in a gain to Germany of +20 to +40 NM by default (not sure how much, will research it), however, if I disband the fleet Germany will go -30 NM over the next turn. If a surrender is accepted the fleet goes to Scapa Flow for internment, so it is removed from the game map never to be returned, at any rate this part of the game/match would be over anyways. In the end I elected to keep the fleet.
The green circle represents the zone of that general's influence, especially wanted it to cover Novo-Georgievsk, at least temporarily while repositioning.

Balkans: Not a whole lot I can do with Bulgarians, they are virtually surrounded and out-numbered, was able to deploy repatriated units to protect Sofia. As they say: Fighting to the "Bitter End"...

RE: Admiral Serak vs Operating
Germany Surrenders: Bulgaria takes -52 NM from last turn to this turn, which I thought was unusually high NM loss... Well with My last ally Germany Kaput, NM at "0", Bulgaria will be Kaput soon too. Since there is no "correct" surrender selection, Meaning: If I click the surrender button: There is no Victory or Defeat Event, it's just over, maybe I get to see a brief picture about defeat, but when then it's the Admiral's turn he get's nothing to see, No Victory Event, No statistics, Nothing but a checkered flag beside my name in the MP lobby, which to me: "Is a really sucky way to end the match"..!!!
I'm sure Admiral Serak will be very Happy to see his "Victory Event"[:D]

Balkans: In the end I will lose 1 or 2 garrisons (he never captures the Capital Sofia) during replay, after which Bulgaria offers to surrender, which the Admiral accepts. Ahh! It's a "Conditional Surrender" versus an "Unconditional Surrender", so to me: I won (just fooling).[:)]

Kill Statistics: This screen was saved just so to compare kills to the previous SS which listed casualties , also to show there were no green checkmarks that corresponds with any victory stars, total defeat.

RE: Admiral Serak vs Operating
Total Defeat: I'm sure Admiral Serak had enjoyed this match as much as I did, I have no doubt about it.[;)] This was the Admiral's revenge match from an earlier one we had before some months ago.[:D] I'll tell ya, I worked hard to get this event screen, sure I made mistakes, which the Admiral took full advantage of much to my chagrin, as much work I put into this match, I'm sure the Admiral had to work as hard, if not harder to gain his victory. We are negotiating "House rules" for our next match, some of the rules hopefully will be in the next CTGW patch release.
This is the final AAR post for this match, to which I will add a hearty 'CONGRATULATIONS" to Admiral Serak on this Victory..!!!!
