Why not extend sales past the 1st or 15th of the month?

Why not extend sales past the 1st or 15th of the month?

The announcement I saw today was for a sale that ends on the 13th. I would like to make a purchase, but I also went on vacation at the start of the month, so it's just not in the budget right now for me.

Since many people get paid on the 1st, 15th or last day of the month, why not extend sales like this for just a few extra days so that Matrix could get more people at times when they have some disposable income in their pockets?

Just a thought....

That makes sense to me. Many businesses center their specials around peoples paydays.
