weapon graphics mod?

Hey, iam enjoying my distant worlds with lots of graphic mods but i have only found 1 weapon graphics mod so far (Kalthaniell's).

Now i have seen this screenshot http://www.matrixgames.com/forums/tm.asp?m=3626831&mpage=1&key=&#3895468 from the no annyoing ship symbols mod, and i really whish i could have beams looking like that =)

any tipps?

I can't link or attach files (too new), but Hambango had a thread "New Ship Symbols" from a few days ago. He posted an attachment with his effects near the bottom of the thread. AMAZING! New shield effects, weapon effects, etc. Love them.
