Are units in wooded terrain more vulnerable to artillery fire?

A lot of games have rules along those lines but I am having trouble finding anything addressing it in the manual.

You can find the information under Chapter 5, Combat, under Terrain Types of the Campaign Series (5.25).

Forest is discussed in 5.25.7 page 59 (2.01 manual). Terrain modifier is .80, so 80% of the attack value is used in a pure forest hex. It does get a bit complicated, when various terrain modifiers apply simultaneously.

Hmmm so no penalty from artillery? I could have sworn I remember reading something about there being a penalty (due to trees splintering) but maybe I'm thinking of a different game...
