The French fought for Poland I and Germany attacked and I at least am trying to get peace back as I have no intention of staying at war with France Britain and Italy. That as been true in EVERY game I have played so far. The Soviets invade Poland after the Germans and the allies make peace.

Collusion amongst players to game the system and gobble up neutrals without actually triggering any real fighting ?

I thought diplomacy was an integral part of the game.

".......game the system?" Cant speak for any others but I'm afraid my skills as a player are well below being able to pull that off.

Hungary joins Rumania Yugoslavia Bulgaria Austria and Albania as part of the Italian Balkans coalition. This was achieved by the expenditure of influence and Political Points with no recourse to phony declarations of war, all made possible by Italy steering clear of military conflict, a path it shall continue to follow unless forced to do otherwise.

Bratislava is now German earned in blood from the Czechoslovakians. Italy has made peace with the Soviet Union no direct attacks were made on Italian allies in the Balkans, so we see no basis for sustained conflict.
Are we like late Rome, infatuated with past glories, ruled by a complacent, greedy elite, and hopelessly powerless to respond to changing conditions?

Now Portugal has been gobbled up. Instant declarations of war followed immediately by declarations of peace.

Japan extends economic aid to it's allies. Trying to make the most of the peace.

History began July 4th, 1776. Anything before that was a mistake.

To my opponents.....guys, I'm moving to Sydney, Australia this weekend (20th), so I'm going to be out of the loop for a while. I'm not sure for how long but hopefully it wont be longer
than a week.

To all those that have gone through this experience of moving house before, you have my condolences. I don't think I've been so exhausted in all my life. Just when you think you've
got everything done and ready, something else comes up that needs to be taken care of. This process continues and continues and continues.......

Hi guys......sorry for the long delay. Had family issues and things to deal with when I arrived here.

Should be back up and returning files by Monday or Tuesday when internet issues get sorted out.

The United States Navy notices Japanese submarines off Boston.

USN submarines have also been on recon missions.

The Japanese are helping protect the USA against the German aggressors, now that the USA is at war with Germany.

Or is it just another misunderstanding amongst friends ?

With the German declaration of war the Swedish people called upon their friends in the United States, and promptly coordinated all military affairs.

No attack on any Swedish or American assets followed. There was anti-supply activity noted of 79 points. This was not enough to count as bloodshed, and so the United States offered peace to the German state. The American people are ready for war the offer will be withdrawn if not accepted. If Germany wants the offered peace they should accept it first thing. No attacks or bloodshed will be accepted and the United States will prosecute war against Germany if attacked.

The Swedish incident will result in a major war unless the Germans step back from the brink.

I played my France/ UK turns and saved for USA. I placed in Game 19 folder. While playing a different game I was given a message about dropbox that said the USA game 19 had been deleted??? Very unusual...never happened before. Does anyone know what happened? Luckily I save all turns on my computer for 3 or 4 turns, so I can place a copy back in the folder. I'll wait until I get a response to see what might of happened.

The next player must have taken it out. I just open it in drop box but some people remove the entire file.

I have started to remove the file and I do not put it in "Old Turns". I finished my turn and put the German turn36 up there for the German player. This makes Dropbox as resource efficient as email. I have ten folders in Dropbox now and do not want to buy more storage.

=============================

The United States intends to try and help the Scandinavians, but is not interested in a large war with Germany. The German grab of Sweden and attack on Denmark have united the Danes, Swedes, and Norwegians. The USA will try and make the Germans leave the area. If Germany abandons its conquests there the conflict can end.

Oh, sorry for jumping the gun on that and thanks for the quick responses!

The UK and France would like to encourage both sides in the Scandinavian conflict to commit to a peaceful settlement of their differences on the matter. Perhaps it could be brought before some kind of newly formed court of the world? [:D]

Although a state of War still exists between Germany and the USA, there seems to be no active battles taking place. This would suggest more of a cold war extension of diplomacy than anything really intentional.

The United States would gladly make peace with Germany if they withdraw from Scandinavian territory they have captured. The Swedes and Danes do not want war, but they do not want German occupation either.

The Admiralty:
Air search and rescue is beginning from Belfast. Survivors will be picked up if found...the North Atlantic can be treacherous...and returned to their homeland. The UK regrets the loss of life on both sides of this conflict.

Current turn in Dropbox says Italy when I opened it, the turn was German. Can't play German turns I don't have the password.[:)]
